about.

I am an experienced and proven designer currently based in London; most recently working as a Product Design Engineer specialising in Architectural and Marine lighting. I can initiate and develop highly creative and unique ideas into feasible, manufacturable designs. I take great pride in my work and find the entire design process incredibly satisfying knowing that the end result is the best possible solution.

I am passionate about light, having worked at both ends of the lighting industry. I started as a lighting designer after university, working on major projects across the UK and the Middle East. I was honoured to assist with the lighting at Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Commons and Westminster Hall amongst other projects. I also thrive in creating Light art, with projects at landmark restaurants like Gallio at Canary Wharf, to the caves at Stump Cross Caverns.

During my time on the manufacturing side of the lighting industry, my time was split between numerous, highly varied and fast-moving Custom Design Projects for clients all around the world, as well as New Product Development. My main project during this time was designing and developing a landscape accent light for the company's range of luminaires which finished runner-up at the 2023 darc Awards. This has given me a detailed insight into the product design process as a whole, from ensuring designs are easy to manufacture all the way through to ensure uniform finish and high build quality.

Outside of design I am a passionate artist, photographer and cyclist. I enjoy painting abstract pieces of landscapes and architecture using a plethora of mediums.
